Oversight of the intelligence agencies is the responsibility of various Senate committees and personnel.

If the Senate had been doing their job Of curtailing, illegal, improper, and/or unethical acts by any of the intelligence departments …

Then there would have been no need for Snowden, or anyone within the departments, to do anything.

Snowden is a hero because he took it upon himself to do what the Senate had failed to do.

Tulsi’s position, is that she will provide the Senate committees with the information that they need to do their job.

That’s all Tulsi had to say.

It's unpredictable what the public decides to be outraged about, and what they seem to ignore. Have you noticed that about the latest USAID story? Most of the stories decrying how the money was spent actually cite a .gov site. Do you think that we might be having an "American Spring" movement where citizens have lost some fear of the state and simultaneously gotten to the limit of their tolerance for state abuse and are ready to stand up for themselves, or at least follow behind the shield Trump seems to provide? I think that's the bigger story no one seems to be covering.
