Facebook is complete garbage, they did you a favor. I deleted my account a few years ago and am very happy I did. I have no other social media accounts and it’s wonderful. It’s the newest opiate of the masses, keeps the sheep distracted. Fuck Facebook, Zuckerberg, and all the other censorship platforms
Social media is a cancer. These companies need to be broken up and our data / privacy rights returned to us. Not to mention a cut of the billions and billions of dollars they’ve made with our data, of which zero gets shared with us. Fuck Facebook.
My wife, who is Mexican/American, was fired for racist comments, yet zero investigation and she still doesn't know what happened. Sad times. Anyone can just accuse anyone of horrible things and companies are too scared to look into it for fear of lawsuits or their own cancelation. Someone needs to have a backbone.
Why even bother with Facebook? The treatment you receive is to be expected, no? It’s like an abusive partner one continually goes back to expecting them to behave this time. Then, when the inevitable happens, you say they are “the absolute worst”. 🤷🏻♂️
I've been in Facebook jail often enough simply for posting my weekly blog link. I never knew what was so offensive that it had to be taken down, and I wasn't allowed even to post birthday greetings on my friends' or family members' FB pages for over a month! I know the pain and frustration you feel, Matt. Keep up the good work and one of these days... Well, I hope we'll see a free and open society where ALL points of views are allowed to share their stories with the public on open social media platforms.

I haven't used Faceplant since 2016, and I haven't missed it. I have had a post temporarily hidden on X when I was posting an article and the news site picture. I think it was New York Post. But, they quickly just added a warning label and allowed me to keep the article up.
“How is somebody supposed to defend themself against false charges if the charges don’t even clarify exactly *when* or *what* actually took place that is criminal?” This has been going on since the beginning of FB, they closed my original account one day about 15 years ago and I had no idea why. They wouldn’t ever respond... 🤷🏽♀️

There’s a solution: BOYCOTT FB. FB did something to me that was so Absurd that it was ridiculous. (It’s not worth trying to explain.) So I took advantage of my suspension and i did what my daughter had been hounding me to do forever: I stopped using FB. “F” FB. Ther is life after FB!
