The database stopped working in 2021, before the majority of our current staff was at CPI. We’re seeking a way to reinstate it – it wasn’t removed intentionally or recently.

Yes, I saw that. I was addressing anyone reading my comment. I ask them myself. I am Canadian, and one of the things I did on Twitter before my permanent suspension, was to ask CBC News, literally dozens of times, "Why do you no longer cover the persecution of Julian Assange?" They never answered of course, and now all of my questions have been turned into gas and poured into the stratosphere.
I have this crazy idea that if more people simply asked a simple question to power, then, maybe, we might get some positive change.
Silence and standing on the sidelines never changed a thing, not once, not ever.

We do not know if they "removed" the archive. A "technical issue" could be an accident. What we do know is they have not brought it back for over 2 yrs, and have announced no plans to do so.
