YouTube Wrongfully Deleted Anti-War Podcast Interview with Matt Taibbi for "Misinformation"
YouTube deleted Matt Taibbi's appearance on The Scott Horton Show
YouTube deleted Matt Taibbi’s appearance on The Scott Horton Show for “misinformation”—but no falsehoods were uttered. The podcast was wrongfully deleted for merely discussing my video of the Democrats claiming the 2016 election was illegitimate.
When I made the video mashup, last month, it was immediately demonetized. However, after getting called out on Twitter, for wrongly suppressing the video, YouTube publicly apologized. (Although, a second video, which got less attention, remains demonetized.) Hopefully, we can bring enough attention to YouTube’s wrongful takedown of Horton’s podcast, that they will correct their disturbing error.
YouTube says that the podcast violated its “misinformation policy” on “content that advances false claims that widespread fraud, errors, or glitches changed the outcome of the U.S. 2020 presidential election”, and YouTube quickly rejected Horton’s appeal, even though, neither he nor Taibbi made any such claims. You can verify this for yourself by listening to the full podcast, which is still available elsewhere.
UPDATE: Days later, YouTube quietly put Horton’s video back up, without notification or apology.
Remember when Orwellian censorship used to the hallmark of a totalitarian regime?
Neither do I.
“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”
