MSNBC analyst Clint Watts created an online dashboard called “Hamilton 68”, in 2017, allegedly tracking 600 Russian bots on Twitter. In reality, these Twitter accounts were real Americans, with real American concerns, viciously attacked and falsely accused of being foreign or fake by MSNBC at least 279 times.
Perhaps Watts, who told a Harvard University audience that he “wanted to kill communists” in his youth, was inspired by Joseph McCarthy’s terror campaign stemming from a secret list of Russian communists, which like Watts’s Hamilton 68, was determined to be a scam, only after years of severely undermining our democracy.
Watts may be an MSNBC analyst but his scam was in no way exclusive to MSNBC. The Hamilton 68 disinformation campaign was propagated by virtually every major media outlet in America. It’s hard to comprehend the sheer scale without seeing it for yourself. So please subscribe and stay tuned for my follow-up video.
